St Dunstan's Church, Hunsdon

Hunsdon Church is part of a wider group of churches including St John the Baptist, Widford and Holy Trinity, Wareside.  Our benefice website has most of the information about how we, together, are seeking to Know Christ and Make Him Known.  We hope these few pages dedicated to Hunsdon Church will help you to get a feel for what Hunsdon Church is about.

Here in Hunsdon, our church is a family, and we would be delighted to welcome you to worship with us on Sundays at 11am or to our other activities.

Our services are a mixture of the traditional and the contemporary and this is appropriate for our mixed congregation.  We have two fairly formal services of Holy Communion each month during which our children enjoy their separate activities, and two informal services where everyone stays together all the time.  Our "Praise" services include more singing than some of the other services, and we try to make our Family Services accessible to every age group.

If you can't make it on a Sunday, we also have a service of Holy Communion at 10am each Wednesday in the St Francis Chapel on Acorn Street.  In addition to this, there are a number of home-groups which meet in the parish during the week to pray and study the Bible together as well as enjoying one another's company.

We host a variety of special events through the year.  Some are for the church family and some are put on for the benefit of our neighbours and friends in the local community.  A full calendar of events is available on the main benefice website.
